Forest Charter School - Creekside Cooperative

In the Summer of 2005, families in the Tahoe Basin came together to establish Creekside Cooperative, a K-5 public elementary charter school site of Forest Charter School on the West Shore of Lake Tahoe. Under the independent study charter and personalized learning philosophy of Forest Charter School, Creekside Cooperative combines creative curriculum, positive discipline and parent/student involvement to guide its students through the state requisites in education and far beyond, fostering a life-long love of learning.

The Mission of Creekside Cooperative is to foster in each of our students a love of learning, respect and appreciation of diversity, and recognition of personal strengths, responsibilities and interests through broad options, experiential instruction, positive modeling and parental involvement.
